Ismilda Mallinder - Izzy

I set up Studio Izzy to provide an approachable and flexible interior design service creating practical, comfortable and authentic homes. My house designs are influenced by the architecture of the space and its inhabitants needs and lifestyle. I like to create home decor with character and longevity, mixing old with new, using natural materials and hand-crafted objects and furniture.

I have spent most of my working life running commercial projects as a project manager and ten years ago, I took a career break to raise my young family. During that time, I embarked on a couple of house renovation projects which led me back to studying and completing a postgraduate diploma in interior design. Since then I have been working as a freelance interior designer for a complete house renovation consultancy as well as working on projects of my own.
